Over £7,400 raised for Fishing for Schools on Giving Tuesday

Updated: Dec 7, 2021

On behalf of the team and young people at Fishing for Schools, thank you to everyone who generously helped us raise over £7,400 on Giving Tuesday last week.

The magnificent gesture and donation that so many of you made, will allow us to maintain our free to school programmes into the future. Now you can share all the joy and the educational help we bring to young people.

Fishing for Schools is offered at no cost to schools and relies on the generosity of our supporters to fund our work with young people. Every gift, however large or small, makes a difference.

We would also like to make a special mention of thanks to the staff and students at Purbrook Park school who held a bake sale in aid of Fishing for Schools last week.

Also to our Director, Charles Jardine, who made a heroic effort in his Wimbleball Reservoir Challenge, which sadly left him with an injury, but plenty of vital funds raised for our work.

If you would like to learn more about Fishing for Schools, or ways to get involved, please contact us at fishing@ca-foundation.org.

Don’t forget our Christmas Card is still available until 17th December when the cut off takes place for Christmas delivery. You can shop here.
