On Thursday 18th March we held our first Fishing for Schools session for 2021. We were at Grove Farm, Hadlow college with the lads from Rowhill school, Longfield.
The northerly wind was chilly and the constant rain made fishing not easy, but by feeding little and often we managed to winkle out one Carp and some nice silver fish.
Because we are a bit behind on the paperwork side of this BTEC Fishery course because of the recent lockdowns, it was a good chance today with the poor weather conditions to get more paperwork completed. We looked at the Water cycle and seasonal weather changes in the winter, Spring and Summer.
Really nice to catch up with the lads again, who were really excited to go fishing again.
